In 2004, Delta and tennis legend Mark Philippoussis began dating.
It looks like things got serious between the couple pretty quickly, with Delta regularly attending Mark's tennis matches and causing a media firestorm with photographers whenever the pair were spotted out and about.
Around the same time they were dating, Delta was sadly diagnosed with aform of cancercalled Hodgkin's lymphoma. Mark is known to have been a huge support to her during tough times, inspiring one of Delta's hit singles,unexpectedly.
Controversially, the couple's relationship ended following a series of cheating rumors involving Mark, with the tennis star linked to Paris Hilton in 2004.
"Delta and I had something special and unfortunately it didn't work out and now everything seems like crap and it's difficult," Philippoussis told 2GB Radio's Alan Jones at the time.
"We realized things were tough," he said.
